The Fleet Street Clinic has been chosen by a major international broadcaster to operate a 24-hour onsite clinic within the Olympic Park, for the entire period of the London 2012 Games, providing round-the-clock care for some 3500 broadcasters and crew. Meanwhile, our main clinic in Fleet Street will be fully-staffed with extended resources, looking after sponsors, VIP guests, and visitors to the Games from all over the world.
With the possibility of a flu outbreak within the next few weeks, concern grows for pregnant women who have not had a flu vaccination. While many women are reluctant to have a flu jab while pregnant, conversely they may be putting themselves and their unborn child at risk. Dr Maureen Baker of the Royal College of GPs explained to GP Magazine that there needs to be an increase in flu vaccination uptake amongst pregnant women. You can also read a summary of the article here.
Our dedicated Flujabs website has more information on the flu vaccination.
The Fleet Street Clinic is among the first practices in the UK to be able to offer the ground-breaking vaccine against shingles to its patients. The vaccine - Zostavax - has been available in North America for around six years, and has now arrived in London! Zostavax represents a major advance, as anyone familiar with the ravages of this infection will understand only too well. Click here for more information.
Our great choice of flu vaccines includes standard vaccines as well as intradermal (using a tiny needle to deliver the vaccine into the top skin layer - no more sore arms), virosomal, and egg-free vaccines for anyone concerned about sensitivity or allergy to egg protein.
This year, we are running a drop-in service for all children over the age of six months, and adults. In addition to our drop-in vaccination service, we also run a UK-wide workplace vaccination service at competitive cost - check out our dedicated flu vaccination website, www.flujabs.org.

The documentary showed HPV vaccine being used at the clinic as well as discussions about its pros and cons. Click here to find out more.
